Implants offer a permanent solution when it comes to replacing missing teeth. They do not rely on other existing teeth and so do not damage them like bridges sometimes can.
During a surgical procedure, a titanium post is implanted into the jaw where the tooth or teeth are missing (1), synthetic teeth are then attached to the implant (2) and become a permanent fixture in the mouth. They can feel the same, look the same and perform as well as real teeth (3).
